ABOUT THIS EVENT

Come along to the official opening of Lane Cove's new Skatepark!

SCHEDULE
9:45 am - 10:00 am: Event Opening & speeches
10:00 am - 10:20 am: Beginner class registration CLASS #1
10:20 am - 10:50 am: Beginner skate class #1 (30 min class. Suitable for newcomer and beginner skaters with little to no experience on a board and at a skatepark.)
10:50 am - 11:00 am: Lesson pack down / FREE SKATE
11:00 am - 11:15 am: Beginner class registration CLASS #2
11:15 am - 11:45 am: Beginner skate class #2 (30 min class. Suitable for newcomer and beginner skaters with little to no experience on a board and at a skatepark.)
11:45 am - 11:55 am: Lesson pack down / FREE SKATE

11:55 am - 12:05 noon: Skate Demo / Community Interaction

12:05 pm - 12:20 pm: Mentoring Session registration CLASS #3
12:20 am - 12:50 am: Mentoring Session (30 min class. Suitable for intermediate skaters with experience on a board and at a skatepark.)
12:50 pm - 1:00 pm: Lesson pack down / FREE SKATE

1:00 pm - 1:15 pm: SKATE JAM grouping
1:15 pm - 1:45 pm: OPEN SKATE JAM
1:45 pm - 2:00 pm: Community Interaction / Close program hand out Stickers

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ

WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our ONLINE WAIVER FORM HERE before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark.

THE WAIVER FORM IS NOT A TICKET.
Spots are limited, and bookings are essential via our Eventbrite page.

* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds.

Equipment: Professional grade Skateboard, helmet, and safety pads (optional) are provided for all classes. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment and get a free safety check by the pros!
